Is the watermark permanent?▼
Yes. The watermark is drawn directly onto each PDF page as vector text. It cannot be removed without specialised software.
Can I apply different watermarks to different pages?▼
Currently the same watermark is applied to all pages. For different watermarks per page, use our Edit PDF tool to annotate individual pages manually.
What opacity should I use?▼
15–25% opacity creates a subtle watermark that's visible but doesn't obscure the content. 40%+ creates a more prominent stamp that reduces readability of the underlying text.
